      • February Site of the Month
        ExploreOhio's site of the month for February is Ohio History Central African American History Entries. Ohio History Central, the Ohio Historical Society's online encyclopedia of history, recently added a new installment of entries related to African American history in Ohio. The encyclopedia now contains 325 entries documenting the people, places organizations, documents, and events that add to the story of how African Americans have enhanced and influenced the rich cultural diversity of the Buckeye State's heritage. In recognition of Black History Month, Explore Ohio invites you to visit Ohio History Central and expand your knowledge about African American contributions to Ohio's history.

        ExploreOhio's site of the month for January is
        128 Ohio General Assembly
        . The electorate made sweeping changes to the Ohio legislature in last November's elections. Ohio's 128th General Assembly will be sworn in on January 5th. Visit the General Assembly's website after that date to see the new makeup of the legislature. In addition to information about pending legislation and legislative schedules, the site contains direct links to the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate, as well as a finding-aid for identifying legislative members.
